Maintenance
Nickel and polished brass are living, uncoated finishes that naturally develop a unique patina over time. Clean regularly with warm water or mild, pH-neutral soap, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
To restore shine, gently apply a suitable metal polish. A light layer of beeswax can also help slow oxidation. Brass may develop greenish verdigris in damp conditions, which can be removed gently with a soft toothbrush. Avoid acidic or anti-limescale cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
