Junior Designer - Montana Labelle Lifestyle

Responsibilities & Duties:

Looking for a creative individual who has a passion for interior and product design to join the Montana Labelle Lifestyle team. The ideal candidate would have the fluency to support in both interior projects as well as execute on new product designs while upholding the Montana Labelle aesthetic.

Interiors & Product Design

  • Support executive team on all interiors and product related initiatives
  • Act as main point of contact for the Lifestyle Styling Program owning the project from start to completion 
  • Responsible to produce the design package/ keynote including floor plans and product selection 
  • Responsible for all communication on the Styling Programs with the client and executive team
  • Support the executive team in developing new products for Montana Labelle Lifestyle ranging from home accessories to furniture
  • Develop collection packages to present to executive team, including ID drawings, mock-ups, measurents and material selection
  • Responsible to correspond  with vendors, in-house trades and operations team to bring product to life
  • Proactively recommend new product ideas, themes and concepts based on current offerings, upcoming design trends and customer feedback
  • Support with all custom furniture drawings and execution
  • Sample management 

Administration 

  • Responsible for adhering and executing on product lifecycle project plan and calendar
  • Responsible for scheduling all product meetings, creating agendas and recaps
  • Work closely with cross functional team members to execute creative vision of MLL
  • Weekly meetings/check-ins with executive and operations teams to review project tasks, timelines, goals, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Interior Design and/or Product Development
  • Fluency in AutoCAD and Sketchup
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of various materials and finishes

      Marketing Coordinator - Montana Labelle Lifestyle 

      Responsibilities & Duties:

      • Execute social media and marketing plans to build brand awareness for the overall digital presence while upholding all brand standards
      • Work directly with the Marketing Director to develop weekly and monthly content calendars - extending across all platforms to ensure content is utilized at all brand touch points
      • Assist with managing the Montana Labelle Design & Lifestyle social media accounts, including daily posting (weekends may be included) and community management on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
      • Provide and complete excellent community management/copywriting and publishing practices across platforms
      • Assist with on-site, marketing, photo & video shoots, and executive creative needs
      • Present order of events with call sheets, day-to-day roll-out of events, sticking to a schedule 
      • Oversee creative assets – download, catalog, organize, prep for meetings, organize/file as needed/instructed
      • Collaborate with team to ensure an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
      • Support department administrative tasks including (but not limited to) meeting calendar coordination, scheduling all marketing meetings, creating agendas and recaps
      • Research audience preferences, current trends and new platform creation
      • Create/support engaging text, image and video content as needed
      • Help to design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products/launches
      • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
      • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans to the executive team and monitor communication

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum 2-3 years of previous marketing experience
      • Experience with executing social media campaigns from start to finish
      • Great organizational and follow-thru skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously
      • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
      • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize, and multi-task
      • Proven experience in efficiently running timelines and project plans in cross-departmental marketing initiatives
      • Proficient in Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and additional platforms
      • Proficient in InDesign and Photoshop
      • Knowledge in video production a bonus (i.e. Instagram Reels, YouTube, etc.)
      • Knowledge of Interior Design industry and retail a plus
      • Knowledge of Shopify a plus

      Shipping & Receiving Associate (part-time)

      As Shipping & Receiving Associate you will be responsible for the accurate receiving and shipping of all products. You will be a key player in executing and upholding all operational standards. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented and proactive team player who is looking to join a fast growing e-commerce company and to be a part of the next phase of our growth. 

      Responsibilities & Duties:

      • Responsible for all online order fulfillment with a key focus on accurately pulling product and efficiently packing and shipping orders.
      • Prepare all shipping documents through Shopify, Shipstation and manual postal service accounts. 
      • Receive and inventory all incoming products to the Lifestyle Studio and provide end-of-day recaps to the executive team. 
      • Execute and uphold partial order guidelines.
      • Support Operations Coordinator with customer shipping issues and special requests (i.e. broken orders, lost shipments, gifted product, replacements, custom orders, etc.)
      • Maintain organization & cleanliness of studio and backroom - ensure both areas are client-facing, organized and operating at maximum efficiency. 
      • Supply management - proactively notify operations team when supplies are required (i.e. packing supplies, cleaning supplies, printer supplies etc.)
      • Work with the Operations Coordinator to ship special-sized items (i.e special packaging or box sizes needed). 
      • Support with facilitating in-studio pick-ups - this includes notifying clients when orders are ready for pick-up, corresponding with clients in-store and fulfilling orders in Shopify as needed. 
      • Support with studio security - opening and closing stores, setting alarms and locking-up. 
      • Proactively share process-related feedback with the team and recommend areas/new processes for improvement (including everything from packaging of goods, shipping and receiving processes, and feedback on operational processes). 

      Required Skills:

      • 2+ year of experience with shipping & receiving and/or inventory management 
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to work independently.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Understanding of supply chain management, shipping and receiving and e-commerce are a bonus. 
      • Working knowledge of Shipstation and Shopify a bonus.

      Operations Coordinator - Montana Labelle Design

      Responsibilities & Duties:

      • Act as main point of contact for Montana Labelle Design including but not limited to new business inquiries, vendor and trade inquiries and client correspondence.
      • Support with administrative tasks on behalf of Montana Labelle and the design team, including but not limited to email and calendar management, attending meetings and running design errands as needed. 
      • Maintain an understanding of all projects, including status, proposed timelines, deliveries and product material/furniture location.
      • Manage monthly bookkeeping, billing and invoicing, keeping detailed records of all projects, expenses and purchases.
      • Manage all deliveries, couriers and pick-ups on behalf of Montana Labelle Design. 
      • Manage all ins and outs at both the MLD Studio and off-site warehouse locations. 
      • Organize and maintain a sample library at the MLD Studio.
      • Maintain excellent knowledge of all local and international vendors, supporting with ordering and tracking product/materials as needed. 
      • Propose and execute new methods and/or procedures to keep MLD organized and operating at maximum efficiency. 
      • Support with new business development - including taking calls, gathering information, sending proposals and contracts.  
      • Support Marketing Director with assets required for Montana Labelle’s social media channels - including taking site photos, project updates, etc. 
      • Liaise with design team on all project related tasks
      • Work directly with the Montana Labelle Lifestyle team as needed to coordinate products for clients and maintain organization between both companies. 

      Qualifications:

      • 2-3 years of experience in operations, administration and/or executive assistant style roles. 
      • High organized and detailed-oriented
      • Proven experience working cross-functionally with different departments and teams
      • Ability to work independently and with little supervision
      • Self-starter and innovative thinker, constantly looking for new ways to improve efficiency and business operations
      • Creative mindset and interest in interior design

      Junior Designer - Montana Labelle Design

      Montana Labelle Design is hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Designer to support the MLD team in creating beautiful spaces for residential and commercial clients. 

      Responsibilities & Duties:

      • To work on projects from all phases of design through installment, including but not limited to: CAD drawings, sourcing, procurement, scheduling, vendor relations, and client relations. 
      • Develop design packages and presentations alongside the Principal and Senior Designer.
      • Review designs with clients to ensure it meets the deliverables
      • Provide design support and administration during completion and execution of design concepts.
      • Develop AutoCAD drawings.
      • Sourcing - finish and material selections, etc.
      • Work with operations team to order and facilitate Lifestyle product for clients
      • Source and work with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures, & accessories.
      • Manage multiple projects at once.
      • Prepare for and organize regular meetings/check-ins with the senior team to review projects, timelines, updates, etc.

      Qualifications: 

      • 2-3 years of design experience preferred.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.
      • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
      • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
      • Strong ability to multitask, work independently as well as a team.
